Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana

trying to get out of an apartment lease

I have been dismissed from school and i was supposed to live in an apartment. But with being dismissed because of grades due to a medical condition, I was wondering if there was any way to get out of my apartment lease? Or anyone I could talk to about this situation? I did get letters from my doctors saying i was going through the medical condition. What can i do to get out of my lease?

Your situation certainly is unenviable. However, you may have certain options or "loopholes" (as you will) to mitigate and/or excuse your performance duties under your current lease. However, prompt review of your lease is crucial first. Our Law Office specializes in landlord/tenant law, and can definitely help you here one way or another, upon proper review of your lease agreement.
