Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana
My boyfriend and a friend of mine all signed a year lease, if my boyfriend decides to leave does he still have to for fill his third of the rent for the remainder of the signed lease

Yes. Unless the lease allows for an assignment or subletting, in which case, if a new tenant is found and accepted by the landlord, he might be off the hook.
