Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana
Is it legal for a landlord to put our belingings in storage after we have been evicted and then charge us to get them back? And don't they have to allow us to get our personal belongings, like pictures and clothes and legal documents.

In Indiana this usually requires a separate security agreement signed by the tenant. Landlords can also take personal property by court order. Some property is exempt. You should speak with a local lawyer who handles landlord-tenant disputes for more specific advice.
