Out of State transfer

Is there a way to get out of my lease, without paying the termination agreement, if my company transfers me out of state and does not offer a relocation package?

Re: Out of State transfer

The answer to this question depends upon the lease agreement between you and your landlord. normally lease agreements are for a stipulated period and vacation by the tenant before that period requires payment of certain damages to the landlord, which the landlord secures by way of advance at the time of entering into the lease agreement. In your case if the agreement does not waive the damages on account of your transfer outside the state by your Company, then you may not be able to escape the liability.
