Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana
Hello I stay in South Bend, IN I had a problem with extreme flooding in my kitchen and hallway area for a whole year and the landlord(s) of the apartment complex refused to fix this issue they always gave me an excuse and it never got resolved. Well I stopped paying rent in June 2016 and they are taking me to court this month for evicition and repayment of rent of about $3,700. I have videos emails and pictures to prove this was an unresolved issue for over a year. Do you think this is worth me fighting for or will I have to pay the rent regardless since my things were still in the unit up until about 2 weeks ago?
