Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Indiana
This is the third year we live in the apt. When we signed up the renewal lease last year, the leasing office said we need to pay $330 per tenant per month while the new tenants need to pay $340 per month. However, we just found out that they are actually charging new tenants for $322 per month only. When I called the leasing office asking for the price match, they said the owner would not lower the rate for us. They said it is like we missed the walmart sale. Is there anyway we can fight for our rights? Thanks!

Probably not. I can tell you this: a judge would not be happy to see a lawsuit filed over $8 a month or less than $100 for the year.
