Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Indiana

patient admitted for stroke

He is a diabetic, kidney transplant patient. Had a stroke and was admitted to hospital. He was not given his anti rejection meds for 8 days, went into acute renal failure. Hospital admits to all errors, but refuses to compensate us for their mistakes. I can't afford an attorney. Now what can I do?
