Legal Question in Military Law in Indiana
OTH discharge from Army
I received a call from my son's BC yesterday to inform me that they have begun separation proceedings for a positive urine screen (marijuana). I know this means an other-than honorable, but is it possible he could a waiver for possible re-enlistment in the future?

Re: OTH discharge from Army
1. He should fight that, he might be able to get a general discharge.
2. He could submit a conditional waiver of the discharge board in exchange for a General Discharge. That's discretionary with the commander.
