Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

I was in a car accident and i was the one who got hit but i didnt have insurance at the time and the person who hit me supposlely had to take her daughter to the hospital for whiplash and shes taking me to court now cause i wouldnt pay her damages. And she told me she talked to an attorney and they said she could take me to civil court. How is that possible? Wouldnt it just goto small claims court?

The other party may feel that you were at fault and they can therefore you to court. If their claim value exceeds a certain amount, it has to be filed in a court of general jurisdiction rather than small claims court. You had best consult with an attorney as soon as possible.
