Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana
I was in a car accident last year.the other driver was not insured,i was but my insurance{safe auto} did not do anything .my truck was damaged on the driver's side{dents in the door.is there anything i can do now to get my truck fixed.my insurance came and looked at the door but basically said that they could not do anything about the damage.i still have the dents in my drivers side door.if there is anything that i can do,please let me know..

if you had collision coverage with safe auto, it should cover any damage less your deductible assuming you promptly notified them. if you had uninsured motorist property damage coverage there probably is not a deductible. you need to read your policy to see what it says re making the collision coverage or the uninsured motorist property damage coverage. if you did not have coverage, the only thing you can do is take the other driver to small claims court. hope this helps.
