Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana
I was in a car crash. The person in front of me slammed on her brakes because the person in front of her did. I was not driving to close, but it was raining really bad and i slide and hit her. We move from the and the person in front of everyone, who caused the accident left. So the person in front of me exchanged information. I looked at her damaged with her and it was only a small scratch on her bumper and not even a crack on it. Her insurence company called and told me that i was at fault of the accident and that I would have to pay them 500.10 dollar for the cost of fixing her car. If i dont then my license will be suspended. She failed to even tell her insurense company that there was another car involved and she hit them. My question is: Am I in fault and responseable for the deductiable? What should I do? I don't know if I'm really in fault. Since they just want someone to pay that money,

YOU NEED TO REPORT THE WRECK TO YOUR OWN INSURANCE COMPANY AND GIVE THEM THE FACTS YOU HAVE PUT IN YOUR EMAIL. THEY WILL LIKELY TAKE CARE OF IT FOR YOU.
In non block letters, you do need to contact your own insurance company as soon as you can.
