Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

I got a car in indianapolis indiana i didnt have the car for not even a month on the 22nd day i had the car they came and towed it away not knowing that it was a gps on the car they came all the way to michigan to get the car because they say i didnt pay my taxes on the car well when they came and took the car i was stranded in benton harbor michigan then they told me that it wasnt a gps on the car but the police officer who i had spoke with told me that thats how they found the car well like 4 days later which was a satuday they told me to come down and talk to them about getting the car back they had let somone break into my car and steal all my speakers and tv's out the car and told me that it wasnt their responsiblity.
