Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

I want to know if i have a case here: I was butchering a few roosters in my back yard. A neighbor came from her house 50 yards away to my house (not into the house). She yelled at me, took pictures under my objection and threatened me like "you think you can get away with this killings?". She said I can not kill them because we are in city limits. Before she came she called 911 already. This half crazy animal-lover lady thought she would put me to jail. Anyway the police, animal control all came and they said I did nothing wrong because there was no such law and killing roosters for food is totally ok.

Now I am thinking about suing this woman because she really caused trouble to me. I was scared for a hour thinking I broke the law and was in big trouble. And I have not been slept very well after that for a few weeks and made some mistakes at work. Do I have a case here? I think she may have the right to call police but she had no right to came to my place to do those things I mentioned. Am I right? I do not care how much money I can get, as long as court says she needs to pay me for the distrubance I am fine.

Thanks.

It doesn't sound like you have too much of a case. Try to make peace with the neighbors--it may pay off big dividends in the long run.

I do not know of any lawye who would take this case. You might try a small claims case if you can prove your damages.
