You have 2 years to file a complaint at law (lawsuit) for any injuries. As to waiting too long to go to the doctor, while it is true that delay in going to a doctor can give the insurance company an arugment that you were not really injured, that does not mean you don't have a case. It just means they want to take a position that you were not really injured.
Suggest you get a lawyer involved.

I am guessing that they is the other driver's insurance company. This is a very typical response. Bottom line is be firm. If your chiropractor says that the injury is related to the accident, do not let the insurance company push you around. In most cases you have until 2 years after the date of the accident to file a law suit. It is clear that they are not being fair or truthful with you. I suggest that you hire an attorney.
