Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana
If my insurance company hires an attorney to defend a lawsuit filed by Plaintiff who charges that I caused a car accident that resulted in P's injuries, would atty/client agreement be signed between the atty and the insurance company, or between the atty and me?
If between the atty and the insurance company, do I need to sign any document , or receive any notification from the atty , and/or the insurance company? thank you.
What does the agreement normally say?

Usually any agreement is between your insurer and the attorney.
The insurance company will hire and pay the lawyer. You would not typically sign any type of agreement with the lawyer hired by the insurance company although the lawyer does represent you. The lawyer hired by the insurance company will contact you when he needs information from you or when it is time for you to give a depositon. If you have questions for that lawyer, you can get his name and number from your insurer.
