Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana
Hello my mom just got hit in a car accident that was not her fault. Sadly my mother did not have insurance at the time. She suffered some minor injuries as well as her vehicle. In cases like this would the other driver be responsible for all hospital and vehicle repair bills? I would appreciate a response as quickly as possible. Thank you.

Yes, the fact that she did not have insurance may lead to her having her license suspended for a period of time and a fine, but she is still entitled to file a claim against the driver who is at fault and to be compensated fully for her injuries. I would be glad to speak with you further about the steps she should take to protect herself if she would like. I hope she has a speedy recovery. [email protected]
Hopefully, your mother is doing well. I agree with Larry, that she might have some difficulty with her license, so she should obtain inusrance now, so that dealing with that situation is easier down the line.
If the other side is completely at fault, the are liable for the medical bills, property damage, etc.
However, it is likely that regaridng he medical, your mother will ahve to pay for her care first and then make a claim. Usually, property damage issues are more easily and quickly resolved.
