Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

I am getting ready to start a new Indiana-based business in professional services/consulting. I am also in the middle of a civil lawsuit involving an intentional tort with an ex-girlfriend. My wife is not a part of the civil lawsuit and will be involved in our new business. It will just be the two of us starting the business initially with no other employees. What type of corporation should we open to protect our family from the short term and long term consequences of the intentional tort if we go to court over the matter? LLC? LLP? Should the ownership of the company be in only my wife's name until this matter is resolved? I trust and love her, plus we have been told if my name is on the ownership of the company they can freeze bank accounts. Thank you.

The cleanest way to do this is to place everything in your wife's name. However, there are no guarantees that a creditor will not be able to trace your contributions.
