Legal Question in Personal Injury in Indiana

I have received a subrogation agreement from my health insurance regarding medical bills related to a car accident in January. What is a subrogation agreement? Is this something I should sign or not?

Without seeing what was sent to you, I cannot provide much guidance. However, most health policies have a provision that allows for the health carrier to recover any amounts paid by the carrier that you also recover from a third party such as the other driver or possibly your own auto carrier if there is an uninsured claim. The concept of this kind of recovery is known as subrogation.
