Wrongful Imprisonment Question

Im 21 years old. Me and 2 of my friends were driving home from the bar after a couple drinks. I was 2 blocks away from my friends house when I was coming into town and I spotted a police car sitting in a parking lot. I passed him and I was looking in my rear view miror and I seen him pul out but he never had his lights on (Everything works fine on the car and I did nothing to be pulled over). So Knowing that I was going to be pulled over I immediatly parked behind someones Driveway and Got out the car and threw the keys out of the ignition. I was out of the car when they turned there lights on and got out of there police car. I told them I was having trouble with the lights in my car thats why I pulled the car over and they gave me 2 breathalyzers in about a 15 min time frame, then they took me to jail for dui and made me blow again a third time when they took me to county. I spent the weekend in county and was awating court that following monday but the state prosecuter released me before I even went before a judge (Traffic court was at 1:30p.m and they released me at 11a.m). all of my charges were dismissed and I got my license back from the clerk of court the next day. I was wondering if I have a case for personal damages?

So you were in fact drinking and driving, and want to know whether you have a claim for false imprisonment after being arrested for DUI, and after lying to the police when you were pulled over? Do I understand this correctly?
