Legal Question in Product Liability in Indiana
Cup holders and car accidents
I was in a low speed, sliding on the ice, car accident where both of my airbags deployed ( I was the only person in the car). The car had retractable cup holders in the dash. The driver airbag deployed and broke my arm. Either the airbag broke the plastic cup or the force of the accident did, but the pieces flew into my face ( assisted by the force of the airbag?) causing me to have over 100 stitches and permanant facial scarring. Do I have a product liability case that might cover the costs that my car/health insurance will not cover?
