Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Adverse Possession

My property is bordered by a large farm field on two sides which has recently been sold by the farmer to a developer. There is approx. a 10' strip of land that runs the length of my 3 acre lot that I have maintained since I purchased my property in 1988 (cut grass, fertilized, planted trees, etc.) This stip of land is located on one side of my property between my driveway and and a county ditch before the farm field begins. Prior to the developer's purchase, I openly used this stip of land as part of my own yard with no argument from the farmer. Can the developer now incorporate this stip of land into his development plans? Do I have any rights to the land through adverse possession?
