Antennas in HOA neighborhood

I am a certified HAM operator. I became certified after I moved into my recent house, which is in a neighborhood which the HOA prohibits antennas of any kind. Am I bound to the HOA bylaws or is there a state law that could intervene and allow antennas for HAM operator usage?

I am unaware of any state law that would intervene. But we would be happy to look into this further, if desired.
