Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
I bought a house in September in owen county Indiana and the previous owner signed a paper stating the well on the property was in good working order. this was through a realtor so three month later the well is dry and when we called out a driller he said he told the people 2 year ago the well needed to be replaced is there anything we can do about this with the realtor or previous owner.

Yes, you probably do have recourse against the prior owner. However, you will have to pay for the cost of a lawsuit, your own lawyer and witness fees for having people come to testify for you. So, you need to find out whether its really worth pursuing economically, depending on the costs of repair. If it is worthwhile, you should go through a lawyer because this is too difficult of a situation for a do-it-yourselfer.
