Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

My boyfriend's mom's house is being foreclosed upon. It was originally her parents' house. They died and she was trying to get the house under her name. Something went wrong because there was an outstanding "Living Trust" or something like that. Her lawyer said to wait until the house was officially under her name, but that never happened. Now she's being foreclosed on. She even paid a few bills, but the mortgage company said she didn't. Is there anything she can do? I thought maybe a bank statement would help, but I don't know very much.

This is too complex for this forum. Since she has a lawyer, she should consult with her counsel.
