Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
My brother and his live-in girlfriend have broken up there are several things of his at her house. She has a protective order against him. He just wants to get the rest of his stuff out of the house. She does not want him on the property. Can he get his stuff?

If there is a protective order, he cannot violate it. The best approach is to either have a mutually acceptable acquaintance retrieve the property, upon terms and conditions acceptable to the girlfriend. Failing that, you would best retain an attorney to obtain an order to allow partical suspension of the order to allow the retrieval of the property.
