Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
Building Company (2 partners) in a dispute and haven't spoken for 2 months. I have an agreement in writing from that building company that says I receive 2% commissions on everything that is sold in our subdivisions. The developer partner who owns the lots decides to start a separate building company and sneaks one build job in using his new company and is saying I am owed nothing on that job because he and his partner have no agreement saying that the building company that I work for (of which he owns half) has a written agreement stating he can't have another builder build in his subdivision (even though we have been exclusive for over 13 years). The other partner disagrees but will not do anything because they are in a dispute themselves.
