Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

civil court case...how do i word my defense?

I helped my girlfriends 19 yr old son get a car. This car was bought in my name, he was to make payments. He and his mother made payments for over a year. We have since went our separate ways, he was and is unemployed, was unable of making the payments, so to protect my credit I took the car back and have been making payments on a car that i neither want nor need. The son has now taken me to small claims court to recover the amount of payments he made on the car. While he made payments he had 100% usage of this car, what is my defense..and am I going to have to repay him?

Just tell your story to the judge. I think you should come out all right.
