Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

closing fees

My title company made an error in calculating taxes which resulted in my receiving extra money at closing. Of course, I paid bills since I was unemployed. Several days later they realized their mistake and wanted me to pay it back. Am I liable since it was their error??

Yes. Although, you should be able to work a plan with them since you relied upon their expertise and paid bills, thus no longer having the cash.
