Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

cohabitation laws

My boyfriend and I are building a home together. He is the builder and the loan is also in his name because of credit score issues and the need for a low interest rate. How do I protect myself so if we break up I am not put out on the street with no proof we have done this together? We also have a child together. All the forms I have seen are protecting him not me.
