Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
I have a friend who recently moved from Indiana to Virginia. After she moved, she realized she left a 12-gauge shotgun behind and has asked for it to be mailed. Neither her or I are Federal Firearm License holders. As I understand it, had she moved to another location within Indiana, there would be no problem in shipping the gun to her. Also, the friend told me when I moved in that I could use or dispose of whatever was left in the house and this statement was witnesses by two others. What can I do to solve this problem? Can I legally ship this weapon across state lines?
