house deed
I have a will and have named someone to inherit my home. How does this person get the deed put in his name

After you die, the personal representative of your estate is responsible for distibuting all the assets as per your wishes. The p.r. will sign a deed that does this.

The p[roperty will have to go through probate. You may want to talk with an attorney about alternative ways of giving your house to that person that are easier and less costly. Good luck.
