Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
my husband and I are going to be buying the family business from his family at the end of the year. Due to some problems in our marriage in the past, my father in law will not sell us the business with my name on it. Is there any way to buy it only under my husband's name without getting divorced?

Divorce really isn't necessary. Perhaps your husband can purchase the business under his own name and then add your name at a later date. You would need to have this agreed to in writing, preferably in documentation prepared by a lawyer, in order to protect yourself.
