Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

My husband needs a kidney transplant, we are in the process of getting him on disability. Paperwork was filed in June 2012. Our mortgage company is trying to foreclose on us. Can they do that? Thank you! I'm not sure what '' type '' of legal question this would be categorized under.

The mortgage company's right to foreclosure, if you have defaulted on your financial obligations, is not limited by your husband's disability. Consult with an elder law attorney as to your options.
