Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
judgement in my favor-still have to pay on property?
My husband & I was awarded a judgement of $80000.00 due to home improvements we put into our home of 13yrs & then told by grandpa that it was not ''ours''--unjust enrichment. Now to pay us the judgement the home + 11 acres is to be auctioined 3/24/07. The acutioneer's claim we, if are to be the ones, choose to buy the home that we would have to pay the 10% down payment. That dont seem right since we have a ''$80,000.00 credit'' toward this property? Do you have any law to show me some proof either to pay or not to pay?

The facts of what you are describing are not sufficiently clear for me to be able to respond intelligently. If you would like to talk further, please send a message with your contact information (phone number, etc.) to [email protected] and we can go over what happened. Thanks.
