Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
My landlord filed eviction on me then came to me two days before the court date and said she had changed her mind. The eviction was for a door that was broken into, we agreed that I would fix the door or vacate by 5/31/16. The door is fixed before this date and rent is paid to date. She still came on 5/31/16 to lock me out and says I can not have a key until I sign another year lease with her.

Your landlord shouldn't deprive you of the key or lock you out---that's not proper procedure. However, if she wants a written lease and you didn't have one before, she can insist on the new terms.
