Lawn Care

If not in the lease agreement, but orally stated, is the tenant still responsible for the upkeep (cutting & watering) of the lawn?

If you reside in an individual unit or a duplex home, it is likely that you are required to care for your lawn. If you live in a residential unit in a building then it is more likely that the landlord cares for the lawn

If the lease says that it contains all of the terms of the agreement of the parties and cannot be amended except in writing, then you will have aproblem enforcing an oral modification. Otherwise, if it is a single family dwelling, then you may be able to enforce the agreement for the tenant to care for the lawn.
