Can I loose my home if I being sue because of medical bills

If a judgment is entered against you, that judgment becomes a lien on your property, and that lien can be foreclosed upon if you do not pay the judgment. So you could lose your house. However, if the debt is discharged or otherwise listed in a bankruptcy case, then the lien can be avoided. Best to do this before the judgment is entered. Confer with a lawyer experienced in bankrutpcy law. Good luck.
