Listing agent dropped Century 21 franchise

Our agent dropped his franchise and our showings went from 2-3 a week to one in 4 weeks - He said he won't let us out of the contract. Can he refuse if the contract had his company name & century 21 on it and he is no longer part of Century 21? He said its not fair to him and he would look stupid if someone else got the property sold. I don't want him coming back for a commission on someone elses sale.

You need to have a lawyer read the listing contract.
