Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
I have mold in my attic. I was told there was painted areas in the attic that proves that this was preexisting. can I go back on the inspector for not disclosing that there was a mold problem before? It's been over 6yrs. since we purchased the home. Now were looking at around 8,000 or more for mold remediation or a new roof as was recommended by the Mold inspector.

Most inspection contracts limit liability to the amount paid for the inspection. I suggest that you determine whether your homeowners insurance would apply.
