mold

if you bought a house in the spring of 2003, and this is your first winter in it and you get all this mold growing on the walls and the windows run with water, is there anything you can do? isnt there a lemon law or something? as soon as it got cold the windows ran with water and there is mold an all the walls....

You might have a remedy for the mold and leaking you discovered this winter. There isn't exactly a lemon law for houses, but there are disclosure requirements (which have many exceptions in Indiana.) There may be homebuilder warranties that you could enforce. Your remedies depend on very particular facts, so you should confer with an attorney. In any event, you need to get a lawyer to do your barking for you. So, ask you county bar association for a referral. You need someone experienced in real estate sales and consumer protection.
