Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

When we got a mortgage for 20 acres and a manufactured home it, was too much land for FHA to approve. Then the woman getting us the loan said she was putting down 8.50 acres and we would own the rest of land [11.10 acres] That was 15 years ago and two refinances and three different mortgage companies ago. Now my husband had just filed Disability and we can't afford mortgage payment. We have tried to sell the land we own but, title man says if so we have to give it all to our Mortgage Co. Mortgage said they do not have a hold of it just the home and 8.50 acres.Disability takes awhile to get and we need help. We are on a forebearance plan now and payments still too high. How can we show ownership of this extra property and can you tell us how to do this ? We have no proof that we know of ...

We also on our property taxes have it shown as two parcels but, both parcels are the same like as one. But, we pay for two. What do we do ?????

Go to the courthouse and find your deed. What your deed says is what you own.
