Re: occupancy limit

There is no state law for dwelling occupancy limits. However, local ordinances (county or city) do limit occupancy, and so long as the limits bear some rational relationship to a proper government function -- like regulating street parking, sewage disposal, school funding, etc. -- and not some improper invasion of privacy, then the ordinance will be enforceable. So a limit for members of a single family probably would not work, but a limit of so many persons per bedroom or bathroom probably would work.
