I was engaged we brought a home both names on deed and loan. She called the engagement off.

Want to buy the home she is sueing me to pay her rent if I live or to seel the home and pay attoneys fees. Trying to get loan approved, have no money for an attorney, her Dad is a lawyer. Need Help!!!

I assume that the two of you did not have a written agreement as to this when you bought the home.You need to sell the house, or have a specific written agreement as to paying her something for her interest in the house. You can't MAKE her agree to anything, so if she wants it sold, she'll get it sold, father/lawyer or not. It is NEVER wise to buy a home with another until AFTER you are married, unless you have a written contract between the two of you as to disposition if you break up.
