Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

My question concerns property of a deceased family member. my mother passed away in August 2009. She had a truck in her name when she passed and it went to her husband. Well her husband just passed away in October 2010, and seeing as the Truck was still in my mothers name do i have the right to the truck? such as inheriting it?. My step fathers brother currently has the truck and is trying to make me buy it from him. Is it possible since the truck was my mothers that i could take him to court and receive the truck?
