Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
Recently, The Indiana Dept. of Transportation wants to expand State Road 39 and has sent us Steve and Michelle Schnabel an Aquisition Proposal. First question is; Do we have a right to negotiate the length and width of the amount of property the want to buy or take from us? Is this common pracrise to negotiate a smaller piece of our property to them?

You have the right to negotiate anything that you want to negotiate. Whether the state will accept your proposal is another question.
