Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

I refinanced my house to pay off credit debt and to build a pole barn. The loan officer put this as 2 diferent payments called a construction loan. He said once the construction of the barn was complete we coul put both loans together. We went back to the bank once the barn was completed and the loan officer said that the loans could not merge because the house did not appraise enough. Can legal action be taken?

Possibly. However, you should have a lawyer review of all documentation for the loan(s).
