Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

Just signes as guarantor on my son and roomates apartment. Apt manager assured me it was just for sons part. After signing lease that is not true I was totally misled, now I am securing the roomate too. Roomate is trying to find someone to be her guarantor if she can't what are my options. Would a signed notorized note from roomate stating she won't hold me resposible for her part help? or what???

Your only option is to have your son and roomate file a suit for rescission of the lease- probably something that you want to do since it is clear that you cannot trust this landlord
