Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana

I rented an apartment last year and it has a swimming pool, The pool was never opened this summer . I paid my rent one year in advance and was wondering if the complex broke the lease by not providing a swimming pool and i could get the remainder of my rent back and move. thank you. Brian in indiana.

Doesn't sound like a good argument to me, but feel free to take the lease to an attorney in your community so one can tell whether the lease was actually broken.

I agree with Jay. Also, an answer would depend on what is in the lease concerning the pool. At best, you might get the difference in rent between a similar appartment locally that does not have a pool and what you pay with a pool.
