renters agreement

My sister in another state is buying a home in In. and the pwner/seller will be renting after the 30 days time is over should there be a rent agreement so she doesnt continue to occupy the home after the verbil agreement time is over?

Yes, a rental agreement would protect her far more than a verbal one.
