Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Indiana
seizure of real estate
my husband and I pay my father in laws property taxes, but the land is still is his (may father in law ) and his mother's (my grand mother in law who has passed) names. the courthouse sents all notices and any legal docs to us. we believe he is involved in some sort of illegel drug manufacturing on the property. we have asked him numerous times to sign the land over to us, but he will not. we take care of the land and do not want to lose it. we would like to contact the police, but we are afraid that if we do, we will lose the land. what can we legally do?

I know of nothing that you can do. He is the legal owner of the property.
